President, QVC US
Steve Hofmann became President, QVC US in December 2017. In this role, he leads the QVC Group’s largest business unit, inspiring his team to create highly engaging shopping experiences across broadcast, digital and social platforms, featuring world-class and entrepreneurial brands, compelling dialog, and outstanding service.
Steve Hofmann previously served as President, QVC International, with responsibility for QVC, Inc.’s operations in the UK, Germany, Japan, Italy and France, and our joint venture in China.
Steve has been instrumental in the growth, revitalization or launch of multiple QVC, Inc. markets, building strong executive teams in each to elevate the QVC, Inc. brand and drive performance. Most recently, he fostered the rejuvenation of QVC, Inc.’s operations in Japan. Earlier, while serving as CEO of QVC Europe, Steve also served briefly as CEO of QVC Germany and repositioned these operations for long-term success. Prior to this, Steve led QVC, Inc.’s entry into Italy and served as CEO. He developed the market launch strategies and firmly established the QVC, Inc. brand in this new geography. Previously, he served as CEO for QVC UK.
Steve has significant international experience in the television and television retailing industries, achieved through relevant roles in America, Europe and Asia. He joined QVC, Inc. in 2007 from Jupiter Shop Channel in Japan, where he served as Co-CEO. He also served as CFO for Jupiter TV, Japan’s largest multichannel television provider. In addition he worked with NBC in New York, Hong Kong and Singapore, and served as CFO of NBC’s Asian operations. Steve started his career at Price Waterhouse.
Steve earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Lehigh University.
