QVC International Names Sarah-Jane Morgan as Market Leader, QVC Italy
December 2, 2021: QVC International, which brings the QVC video commerce (vCommerce) experience to customers in Japan, the U.K. and Ireland, Germany and Austria, and Italy, has named Sarah-Jane Morgan as Market Leader, QVC Italy, effective on January 3, 2022. In this role, Sarah-Jane will lead retail operations that reach 25 million homes in Italy via a broadcast network and many more via a website, mobile app and social pages. Sarah-Jane will be responsible for driving top-line growth while advancing QVC International’s strategic initiatives and team member engagement and development. QVC Italy launched in 2010 and produces 17 hours of live video content per day.
Sarah-Jane is currently Director of QVC International’s Digital Store Experience, where she leads efforts across markets to deliver more robust, engaging, and seamless digital experiences for our customers. In this role, Sarah-Jane led the development of QVC’s new social discovery app, which debuted earlier this year in QVC UK and empowers customers to share their discoveries with the rest of the community via their own livestreams. Sarah-Jane has worked with QVC for a total of more than nine years, serving in various roles in Merchandising, Planning and Programming. She has been a member of the QVC International Leadership team since April 2020.

Paolo Penati, who has led QVC Italy for nearly 12 years, has decided to leave the business to focus on other personal and professional endeavours around advancing entrepreneurship and the broader retail community. Paolo guided the digital expansion of our Italian business – embracing new platforms, adding streaming and video-on-demand options, and building a committed leadership team and engaged workforce that will now take the business forward. He also played an instrumental role in creating more collaboration and efficiencies across all QVC International markets,
