U.S. Consumers Rank QVC as the Best Customer Experience in Retail

QVC’s highly engaging shopping experience, combining the best of retail, media and social, is earning high ratings from U.S. shoppers.

According to the 2017 Temkin Experience Ratings, QVC ranks #1 among retailers (tied with BJ’s Wholesale Club and Ace Hardware) and #8 overall (tied with Trader Joe’s, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Food Lion, Subway and Ace Hardware) for customer experience.

The rankings are based on a survey of 10,000 U.S. consumers regarding their recent interactions with 331 companies across 20 industries. Temkin researchers asked consumers to rate their experience on three components:

  • Success: How well do experiences meet customers’ needs?
  • Effort: How easy is it for customers to do what they want to do?
  • Emotion: How do customers feel about the experiences?

QVC’s innovative approach to shopping and strong focus on customer satisfaction have fostered high levels of engagement and loyalty among its 14 million avid customers worldwide. In 2016, 93% of worldwide shipped sales came from repeat or reactivated customers. Existing customers purchase, on average, 24 items per year.
