Fighting Heart Disease by Way of PBS Hit Mack & Moxy

QVC is supporting the fight against heart disease by offering Berkshire Blanket plush hooded throws and donating 10% of the sale price to the American Heart Association. The cuddly throws are based on the title characters of hit PBS show Mack & Moxy and are now available on QVC.com.

In addition, QVC and the American Heart Association joined to support the Mack & Moxy episode “Bop-Topus’s Garden,” which stresses the importance of healthy eating. Brahm Wenger, creator and executive producer, has invited America’s leading charitable organizations to serve as advisors for each subject presented.

Mack & Moxy, produced by Socially Dynamic Entertainment, was created to inspire the next generation of great humanitarians. The show teaches children about hunger awareness, wildlife preservation, emergency preparedness and other important causes through fun adventures, humor and music.

Mack & Moxy is designed for children ages 3-7 and combines state-of-the-art 3D animation, live action puppets and celebrity role models including Hank Azaria, Josh Duhamel, Eva LaRue and Rachael Ray. The program has already been honored with a Parents’ Choice Recommended Award.
