QVC Visits the Hamptons to Present Super Saturday LIVE

A dash of designer makes a standout statement, both in your wardrobe and in the lives of others. For the ninth year in a row, QVC broadcasted Super Saturday LIVE from the Hamptons, an annual, designer charity sale that has generated $8.9 million for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) since 2007.

Customers shopped for sale-prices on first-quality designer accessories, apparel, beauty, jewelry, and more at HALF the manufacturer’s suggested retail price. Participants not only had the chance to save on designer products, but also helped save lives with every find, with 80% of the purchase price of merchandise being donated to benefit OCRF, a QVC featured charity. Proceeds also benefited Women to Woman, OCRF’s nationwide patient program designed to support women undergoing treatment for gynecologic cancers.

“Ovarian cancer is often difficult to detect due to its subtle symptoms,” said Doug Rose, senior vice president of brand and communications, QVC. “QVC Presents Super Saturday LIVE represents QVC’s commitment to raising both the awareness necessary for early detection and the funds needed to help conquer this deadly disease.”

This year, QVC introduced several new brands including Henri Bendel, Julie Brown and sjal Skincare. Some of our returning brands included Alex and Ani’s Charity by Design, Laura Geller, Josie Maran and Dooney & Bourke.
