Mary Campbell, EVP Commerce Platforms, Honored as a Multiscreen Innovator

News Our Team

For the second year in a row, QVC’s Mary Campbell has been named by Cablefax Magazine as one of the “Most Innovative People in Multiscreen” for 2017. This awards program recognizes the most innovative executives across traditional and digital media who strive to give consumers the best multiscreen experience.

As EVP of Commerce Platforms at QVC, Mary’s ongoing focus is to provide an interactive and engaging brand experience on new and immersive consumer platforms, in addition to expanding QVC’s broadcast programming. During her tenure, QVC has evolved from a single TV network for US shoppers to a multi-platform shopping experience reaching customers in nine countries. Among mass merchants, the QVC Group (including QVC and zulily) is the #3 mobile retailer in the U.S. (#8 globally) and the #4 ecommerce player in North America (#10 across all industries).

This award specifically recognized Mary’s role in the launch of Beauty iQ, the world’s first live, multiplatform network dedicated to beauty. With her leadership, QVC has also become an early adopter of Facebook Live, and to date has conducted over 500 live streams and simulcasts across 30 Facebook channels, reaching Facebook users more than 52 million times with live video.

Additionally, in a bid to focus on the rapid innovation of next generation shopping experiences, Mary led the launch of an updated app for Roku, the number one streaming player on the market, in October of last year.
