Temple’s School of Business Honors Linda Dillman
On April 12th, Temple University’s Fox School of Business will honor three top technology leaders at its 16th annual IT Awards.
Linda Dillman, Chief Information Officer, QVC, will receive the Fox IT Leader Award for her leadership in the use and development of IT in business. Under her guidance, QVC’s Global IT team has delivered a seamlessly integrated, multi-platform shopping experience for millions around the globe. Her forward-thinking vision and strategy have supported QVC’s transformation from a linear TV retailer to a multi-channel powerhouse.
Since joining QVC in 2012, Linda has helped refresh capabilities on QVC’s website, mobile and tablet platforms. Under Linda’s leadership in 2015, QVC IT played an integral role in the launch of QVC’s Apple Watch® app and the QVC app for Apple TV®. Additionally, QVC’s broadcast and e-commerce launch in France this past summer was an effort that was heavily supported by Linda and the IT team.
Linda has also been recognized by various organizations for her remarkable business and leadership skills, as well as her commitment to innovation and collaboration. Linda was recently named in Chain Store Age’s 2015 Top Women in Technology. In addition, Linda was appointed to the GS1 US Board of Governors earlier this year and now serves on the board of directors for Cerner, the leading U.S. supplier of healthcare information technology solutions.
Also in 2015, Linda was named a Top IT Pro by the Philadelphia Business Journal, a CableFax Top Woman in Technology two years in a row, and in 2014 a Computerworld Premier 100 IT leader.
Prior to joining QVC, Linda was named to Fortune’s “50 Most Powerful Women in Business” for five consecutive years.
Alongside Linda, Temple University also honored Robert Moore, Co-founder and CEO, RJMetrics, and Rich Brennen, North American CIO Practice Leader and Partner of Spencer Stuart.
“Linda, Robert, and Rich are leading the ongoing digital revolution that is transforming the business landscape,” said Fox School of Business Dean M. Moshe Porat. “They join a proud and rich tradition of leadership exhibited by previous Fox IT Award recipients. The IT Award, now in its 16th year, continues to recognize the best and brightest role models.”
