'There's no Such Thing as 30 More Seconds', Cooking for Live TV Every Day

“In a restaurant, you can say to the server, ‘That’ll be ready in 30 more seconds.’ Here, there’s no such thing. The dish has to be ready right then, right there.”

Scott Hebert is a Culinary Stylist on a team that whips up masterpieces for QVC’s live programming every day. He’s been with the company for over six years and during that time, there’s rarely been a day that’s similar to one before.

His colleague and Culinary Stylist Lynn Willis, is another kitchen pro when it comes to getting the timing, temperature and visuals just right for QVC’s vast array of products and vendors.

“I think a lot of people just see the live show, but there’s a lot more to what we do down here in the kitchen,” Willis said.
