Vendors Connect with QVC’s Global Strategies
Over 120 QVC vendors recently spent a day with senior merchandising executives from QVC and zulily, networking and learning how they can strengthen and expand their business with both companies. The day culminated in the QVC Star Awards, which recognized QVC vendors who set new standards of excellence.
The QVC Vendor Day, which was held on March 31 in King of Prussia, Pa., featured presentations on QVC’s merchandising strategies in the US, Europe and Asia and on QVC’s initiatives to expand the reach and relevance of its brand experience across all platforms – web, mobile and TV. The day also featured a discussion of the new relationship between zulily and QVC, along with informal networking sessions.
“The relationships we have with our vendors enable us to deliver a shopping experience unlike any other retailer,” said Doug Howe, executive vice president of merchandising, QVC. “Bringing our vendors together gives all of us the opportunity to share best practices and further connect with our customers.”
