Villanova Students Can’t Stop Talking About Beauty iQ
Beauty iQ, the world’s first live, multi-platform network dedicated to beauty, is a hit with the next generation of beauty enthusiasts.
Last month, the Beauty iQ team went to Villanova University School of Business in suburban Philadelphia to stage Beauty U: Live from Villanova — with product demos, free giveaways, live interviews, on-air makeovers, and more.
Students immediately took to social media to share the fun.
“We saw over 200 posts in the first 20 minutes,” said Beverly Brettmann, Manager TV Production for Beauty iQ. “This potential younger generation of shoppers from Villanova had a blast interacting with our beauty vendors and getting introduced to our products in the coolest ways possible.”
Hundreds of students collected expert advice and samples from some of our most popular brands, including Mally, Peter Thomas Roth, Julep, Kopari and Sigma Beauty, as we handed out our popular TILI Try It Love It beauty boxes and over 400 Beauty iQ bags stuffed with cosmetics.
Social influencer Olena Mishchenko (@iamjustamakeuplover) was on hand to share Instagram stories. Beauty maven Mally Roncal joined Beauty iQ host Courtney Cason for our Makeover Monday Facebook Live stream, and Beauty iQ social correspondent Sloane Glass interviewed students on Facebook Live.
We capped it all off at 9 p.m. with an hour-long Beauty iQ live remote, featuring “Get Interview Ready” makeovers for two recent Villanova grads, performed live on-air.
