For as long as they can remember, Alberti Popaj and Elise Ivy have loved discovering the latest ideas, experiences, products and people in the ever-changing world of beauty. Now, they’ll invite customers on this journey as hosts of Beauty iQ, the world’s first live multiplatform network dedicated to beauty. Here’s a closer look at Alberti and Elise.
Alberti Popaj
Alberti is a beauty enthusiast. He avidly follows the latest trends, the top brands and the people behind them, and he enjoys sharing finds, tricks and honest advice with like-minded beauty buffs. Alberti sees beauty as an exciting, fast-paced world – full of surprises, inspiration and fun – and he loves helping others discover their own true beauty.
As a Beauty iQ host, Alberti invites fans to learn and discover with him as he talks with beauty gurus and innovators and takes a closer look at the hottest new styles, products, technology and devices. To Alberti, beauty isn’t just about how you look. It’s about how you feel. It’s about creating a personal style that expresses who you are, empowers you, and brings joy to your life.
For as long as Alberti can remember, women have been asking his advice on their make-up and hair – starting with his mother, aunts and cousins. He began his beauty career as an in-store luxury haircare expert in Beverly Hills, Calif., and went on to represent top beauty brands across southern California at such high-end retailers as Nieman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstom, Barney’s New York, Sephora and others.
In 2012, Alberti stepped onto QVC’s national stage as the on-air education expert for Alterna Haircare. Two years later, he became a QVC program host, focused on helping customers discover great finds in beauty, fashion, cooking and electronics. He became a Beauty iQ host in 2016.

Elise Ivy
For Elise, beauty is a never-ending adventure, full of inspiring ideas, exciting experiences, cool products and interesting people. Like all beauty buffs, Elise loves the fun and creativity of it all, and she loves sharing discoveries with friends.
It’s always different – she loves learning. But it’s also holistic. Elise believes true beauty reflects healthy living. It’s a combination of mind, body and appearance. It’s about building inner confidence and joy that shines through to everyone around you.
As a Beauty iQ host, Elise indulges her passion, together with beauty trendsetters, entrepreneurs and fans everywhere. She tells stories, offers tips and tricks, and gives her honest perspective – all to help fans discover their own true beauty.
Elise’s passion for beauty began as young as five, when she discovered the joy of playing in her mother’s makeup kit. She spent much of her career as an actress and host, appearing in several movies and over two dozen shows on CBS, HBO, FOX and other networks. She also ran her own personal training, Pilates and yoga business as a certified trainer, and served as the social hostess on a cruise ship.
Elise joined QVC in 2015 as a program host and has helped customers discover products across beauty, apparel, accessories, health, jewelry, home and electronics. She also created Minute Motivation, a series of video fitness tips on QVC’s YouTube channel. She became a Beauty iQ host in 2016.
